Despite economic uncertainty, most small residential contractors remain optimistic about 2025, with 89% confident in job prospects and many reporting increased client demand for larger projects, particularly in kitchens and bathrooms, according to a STANLEY survey. High-end design trends such as bold cabinetry, layered lighting and sustainable features are also gaining popularity. The majority of contractors say they are satisfied with their work, citing pride, autonomy and financial reward as key motivators.
